Did this happen?
Did you have one of these notices?
Do you want this to happen?
Would you like one of these?
You might not know how this happened
You might not be responsible
You might have trusted someone who has let you down
Don’t worry – we can fix the problem.
Our Penalty Recovery Service
We have a 100% Success Rate in dealing with Manual Actions and Algorithmic ‘penalties’
How do we do it?
We diagnose the problem using a number of tools that give us data
We apply our knowledge and experience to the data, because it’s not always clear what the problem actually is
We communicate with you every step of the way so you know what to expect and when to expect it
We’ll solve the problem no matter what it takes – whether that’s through manual outreach, disavowing links, writing reconsideration requests or solving technical issues
Why Do Penalties Exist?
Short-term tactics that try to bring fast results without any consideration for quality can be to blame for some penalties. Search Engines want websites to ‘earn’ visits, so any “spammy” or low-quality practices that don’t work within guidelines can be exposed to penalties or algorithmic action.
We don’t offer those kind of bad practices, but we do offer to help businesses who have used low-quality services and need help fixing poor work.
What Types Of Penalty Are There?
There are a number of penalties that affect different things – we’re happy working with any kind.
Partial Match – a part of the website, perhaps a few pages or links, are affected
Site-wide – the whole website is affected
Panda – this affects “low-quality” results
Penguin – this affects link manipulation and “over-optimisation”
Hacking & Spam
We’ve fixed hacked websites and removed spam. It’s not nice to find a website hacked, or to discover that a website is suffering from ‘cloaking’ spam that the business isn’t even aware of – but it is fulfilling to solve these problems and reassure businesses that steps have been taken to stop bad things happening again.
Usability Recovery & Audits
Some website issues don’t appear because they break a rule or guideline that Google sets – sometimes something seems to “stop working”, and it’s hard to pin down why.
At the point you ask “why has this happened?”, we’d like to find some data and give you the answer.
Typical causes of loss of traffic, or lower-quality traffic, and lower numbers of enquiries include:
New website launched or changes to website design have gone live
The website doesn’t cater for a certain technology (e.g. mobile devices)
The website development/design team have forgotten to address something (or weren’t aware they needed to)
Whatever the problem is, we can find it – and fix it.
Thank you so much, you’ve done a fantastic job. It happened very quickly, happy to be back where we belong 🙂
